LS - Patient Account Representative
*Left-handed patient diagnosed with
bilateral carpal tunnel syndrome in October 1995.
Although the left hand was more symptomatic, surgery
was performed on the right hand in May 1997. After
9 weeks of postoperative physical therapy on the
right hand without FLEXTEND, there was still no relief
from symptoms, or improvement in hand function.
This patient was later referred
to another physical therapy clinic where she used
FLEXTEND on both hands, from 7/15/97 to 9/4/97.
