How
is FLEXTEND® better?
FLEXTEND'S® patented technology
allows the exercises to be performed through a
full range of motion without any "gripping" involved.
FLEXTEND® provides multiple levels of resistance
for finger, wrist and elbow extension, whether
the hand is in a pronated, supinated or neutral
position. FLEXTEND® also performs exercises
utilizing radial and ulnar deviation of the wrist,
pronation and supination of the wrist and forearm,
and abduction (splaying) of the fingers.
These incredible features allow
greater treatment mobility, especially if the condition
being addressed can only be moved through one,
pain-free motion.
FLEXTEND® can assist in
the therapy of conditions associated with recreational
and occupational induced Repetitive Strain Injuries
affecting the fingers, hands, wrists and elbows.
FLEXTEND® Training
Systems Superior Features Include the Following:
- Extension of 1-5 fingers simultaneously
through a full range of motion.
- Abduction of 1-5 fingers simultaneously
through a full range of motion.
- Shoulder, Elbow, Wrist and
finger extension with no gripping involved.
- Radial and ulnar deviation
exercises (can include finger extension simultaneously),
with no gripping involved.
- Wrist and forearm pronation
and supination (can include wrist and finger
extension simultaneously) with no gripping involved.
- Complete upper extremity movement
throughout a 360-degree ROM, providing unlimited
movement patterns for complete upper extremity
rehabilitation.
- There are three methods of
changing exercise resistance levels:
FLEXTEND®
- Length of tubing
- Size of tubing
- Two interchangeable
fulcrum points located on the
fingers
FLEXTEND®-AC
- Length of tubing
- Size of tubing
- Interlocking
Hook allows resistance to be
doubled.
FLEXTEND®-TFT
- 3-sizes of circular rubber
resistance band
- 1-size
of heavy silicone resistance
band
- Varied
attachment angles
